True Gospel Ministries is an independent Christian ministry that is not affiliated with any denomination or group. This is what we believe ...
- Any true understanding of God and the Bible comes from the teaching of the Holy Spirit.
- Jesus Christ, eternal God and Creator, emptied Himself to live fully as a human while on the earth.[1]
- The Cross of Christ forgave all sins of all people for all time, except the sin of rejecting Jesus Christ as Savior.[2]
- You must be born again to be saved.[3]
- Christians are a dichotomy of a redeemed and righteous inner spirit living in a not-yet-redeemed and not-yet-righteous mortal body.[4]
- The Old Covenant Law was an exclusive agreement between God and the Children of Israel and was never given to the Gentiles.[5]
- Both the Bible and the Christian faith come from the Jews; therefore, the context of the New Testament is much more "Jewish" than is normally interpreted.
[1] Therefore, Jesus is not only your Savior but also your model of faith because He lived by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit that He received at His baptism.
[2] All are forgiven but not all are saved; you must be born again.
[3] Being "born again" means that upon faith in Christ Jesus as Savior, God removes your old sinful spirit and replaces it with a brand new, clean heart indwelled by the Holy Spirit.
[4] Faith is living from your spiritual union with Jesus Christ in your redeemed and fully righteous spirit, and following Him by faith in your not-yet-redeemed and still-able-to-sin mortal flesh. You cannot live righteously by your own self-effort no matter how sincere you are; your mortal body is still dead because of sin.
[5] The New Covenant is also an exclusive agreement between God and the children of Israel; however, Gentiles are grafted into this Jewish salvation upon faith in Jesus Christ as Savior.
